The last MATLAB assignment is about matrix powers and defining functions
in MATLAB. It is due by 5PM on the last day of classes. You
should turn in exercises 2, 3,5,6 and 7 of Matrix
Powers . Note some exercises (more specifically, exercises 6
and 7) do not need MATLAB.

The second MATLAB assignment is about the geometry of linear transformations
and how to plot in MATLAB. Your assignment will be Exercises 2,3,4,5
and 8 of Linear Transformations on
the Plane . It will be due on Friday, Nov
10. Please try to work through
the explanatory examples as soon as possible, so that we can discuss any
questions you may have. In this assignment each exercise is worth
20 points.
If you need to refer to the previous Matlab information they are

Extra MATLAB help is available from
Mike
Buchanan, a student in the engineering school who has a lot of MATLAB
experience.
A copy of the text is on reserve in Fine Library for the rest of the semester.
