Rachel is smart, curious, driven, tenacious, independent; she is helpful to others as well, collegial, and a pleasure to work with. Rachel is also a great teacher, really interested in explaining to younger students what is really going on. Her enthusiasm is infectious, in her teaching as in her research, and inspires others.
