- For many years, I have been involved with the PROMYS program (Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists) at Boston University. In 2006, I was a student, and in the summer of 2010, I returned as a counselor. In the summer of 2011 and 2012, I was head counselor. I highly recommend it for mathematically inclined high school students, and for undergraduate mathematics majors, being a counselor is an extraordinary and unique opportunity to engage in an intensely motivating intellectual environment. See the above website for information on how to apply to PROMYS as a student or as a counselor.
- In 2011, I took up a joint post with Amy Pang and Catherine Chen in organizing the Stanford Women in Mathematics Organization. We hosted events like teas, chocolate tastings, lunches with visiting female professors, in order to strengthen the female mathematical community at Stanford. To join our mailing list, please follow the instructions here. Since I am no longer at Stanford, please direct all inquiries related to the Stanford Women in Mathematics Organization to Amy Pang.
- In 2009, I founded the SUMO Symposium, an undergraduate math lecture series at Stanford University. I coordinated the SUMO Symposium for three years after its initial launch.
