The JACK Quartet will be journeying to Princeton, NJ on May 4th to present an exciting program of music inspired by mathematics. This New York based string quartet will be presenting music by Girolamo Frescobaldi and Richard Glover, both tuned using the principles of just intonation, the premiere of 41819, a piece by Lainie Fefferman inspired by her father's mathematical theorems, and the stochastic mayhem of ST/4,1-080262 by the Greek composer, architect, and mathematician Iannis Xenakis.
