*********************************** * Princeton Discrete Math Seminar * *********************************** Date: Thursday 16th April, 3:30 in Fine Hall 224. Speaker: Ori Parzanchevski (IAS) Title: Spectral theory of simplicial complexes Abstract: While spectral graph theory is a well established and fortuitous field, its higher dimensional analogue is still in its infancy. I will explain some approaches to the definition of a spectral theory for simplicial complexes, their applications to combinatorial questions, and examples such as random and Ramanujan complexes. ----------- Next week: Noam Solomon Anyone wishing to be added to or removed from this mailing list should contact Paul Seymour (pds@math.princeton.edu)
