*********************************** * Princeton Discrete Math Seminar * *********************************** Date: Thursday 30th April, 3:00 in Fine Hall 224. Speaker: Simao Herdade (Rutgers) Title: Stability results in additive combinatorics and graph theory We will talk about stability results in extremal combinatorics. Along the way, we solve a question of Erdos and Sarkozy on sumsets of integers avoiding perfect squares, and reprove the Posa-Seymour conjecture on hamiltonian cycles for large graphs. Joint work with A.Jamshed, A. Khalfalah, and E. Szemeredi. ----------- Next week: summer Anyone wishing to be added to or removed from this mailing list should contact Paul Seymour (pds@math.princeton.edu)
