Non-reflecting boundaries for Dispersive Equations, a new approach
Abstract:
I describe a new algorithm to solve Schroedinger and other dispersive wave equations on R^n, by absorbing layer approach. It is based on time depnedent filtering in the phase-space of the outgoing waves reaching the boundary layer.
The results include rigorous optimal bounds, for rather general type of nonlinearities and local perturbations of NLS, as well as numerical implementation
