Instructions for Mathematica
First, you have to remote logon to math. I'll highlight what's new.
open math via telnet
type remoteon at the unix prompt
press enter
type c
type 24
s for start remote session
go to vnc, run vnc viewer
in telnet session, see if running math1 or math2 or math3....
for example, it will say (in your telnet window) "When
connecting with the VNC client your VNC server is:
Math.Princeton.EDU:2"
make sure you have Math.Princeton.EDU:2 in vnc viewer
(or whatever it says in your telnet window)
enter session password (hopefully the same password you use to logon)
now in math (vnc window)
type in unix prompt ssh mathv40
enter password
type mathematica, click continue when get font message
when done, logout
close vncwindow (manually right click)
go back to originally window used to telnet in
remember message: please remember to close session
press enter
type e and press return (end session)
yes, you are sure!
then type q for quit
yes, you're sure!
