 method for getting a running MATHEMATICA program
to continue after a break in the 'puter connection:

  (1): start with cmd line saying: nohup math

  (2): in session, start the M. program

  (3): apply Control-Z (stopping)

  (4): give cmd line assertion: bg (for "background")

  (5): disconnect
