Ideal Money

    Money is an artifact of civilization. So also is the standard kilogram
which is a mass of platinum-iridium alloy that is kept in a special
international institution located near Paris. But while the latter of these
is invariant with regard to various places and times on the Earth the former
varies with the effective political regime and with time rather than being 
as if like the value of the metal in the standard kilogram. We have remarks
